BOOKING CONDITIONS 2024

We kindly ask you to read our booking conditions carefully since, if necessary, we will refer to them. Campsite and hotel bookings across Europe are subject to ‘accommodation contracts’ which are binding for both parties.

Reservation fee is 5 EUR per pitch.

Cancellation conditions under point 6 (pitches) and point 7 (buoys).

[ 1 ] Reservations without confirmation in written form are not valid

All bookings require written confirmation (via mail or SMS). Any subsequent changes to reservations requested by the guest must also be confirmed by us in writing.

[ 2 ] Reservation details are definite

If details such as the total length or width of your caravan (including towing bar), camper van, or tent are not consistent with the confirmation, Punta D´Oro reserves the right to cancel the reservation. Each family or group must make their own booking. The number of persons must be clearly and fully indicated in the reservation request; additional persons who are not approved by the management will not be permitted.

[ 3 ] Check-in and Check-out

Arrival: from 10.30 to 12.30 h and from 13.30 to 21.30 h.

Departure: from 7.30 to 10.30 h.

[ 4 ]  Validity of reservations

Reservations for pitches without a deposit lose validity after 4:00 pm, while reservations with a deposit lose validity after 9:00 pm. Afterward, Camping Punta D’Oro reserves the right to assign the pitch to someone else, except in cases where you communicate your delay in a timely manner (Tel. 0039 030 980084).

[ 5 ]  Assigned pitch number

Please be advised that upon the confirmation of your reservation, Punta D’Oro legally guarantees the availability of a pitch. However, it is essential to note that due to compelling organizational reasons, force majeure, or other unforeseen circumstances beyond management’s control, Punta D’Oro reserves the right to modify the assigned pitch number without incurring any obligation to provide compensation.

[ 6.1 ]  Cancellation and deposit for the pitch

By ‘deposit,’ we refer to the confirmatory deposit pursuant to Article 1384 of the Civil Code, which generally corresponds to 30% of the total costs of your stay.

If you maintain your reservation, the deposit will be fully credited to the final bill.

Should you choose to cancel your reservation up to 30 days before the booked arrival date, Punta D´Oro will retain 20 EUR as a processing fee and refund the remaining deposit.

However, if you cancel your reservation less than 30 days before the booked arrival date due to illness, personal reasons, bad weather, or vehicle damage, Punta D´Oro will retain the entire deposit.

The total amount of the booked stay must be paid, and in case of delayed arrival or early departure due to weather conditions, vehicle damage, illness, or personal reasons, the deposit will be fully credited.

Regarding travel alerts (in the sense of prohibition) and travel restrictions issued by the Italian government or the client’s home state:

– if such alerts are announced up to 15 days before the arrival date: the client may choose to receive a refund of the deposit (minus 20 EUR for fixed booking costs) or have it transformed 100% into a voucher valid for booking another stay until October 13, 2024.

if the alerts are issued 14 days or less before the arrival date: the deposit will be converted 100% into a voucher valid for booking another stay until October 13, 2024

Personal choices for cancelling the booking due to precaution, fear, work, quarantine or personal reasons do not give any right to a refund of the deposit or the trasformation into a voucher.

[ 6.2 ] Cancellation and deposit for the buoy

When booking buoys, an advance payment of 100% of the cost of the buoy and boat must be made, which is non-refundable even in the event of cancellation within the specified period. A deposit for the pitch is not required.

[ 7 ] Camping stays or reservations without deposit

For camping stays without a reservation, payment is required in advance upon your arrival. The same policy applies to reservations made without a deposit. In the event of delayed arrival due to illness, personal reasons, bad weather, or vehicle damage, the management of Punta D’Oro reserves the right to charge for the canceled nights.

[ 8 ]  Guests and Visitors

There are two categories of visitors: day visitors and extra overnight guests.

In the high season ALTA1 and ALTA2:

Day visitors are not permitted.
Overnight guests which are not included in the booking confirmation are not allowed.
Surprise visits are not possible, please inform your family and friends.

In the low and mid season BASSA and MEDIA:

Day visitors are permitted under the following conditions:

  • The maximum number of six persons per pitch must not be exceeded, including children and visitors.
  • Only a single visit is allowed during your stay; multiple visits are not permitted, either by the same or different persons.
  • Visitors are required to present an identity document and pay the required fee upon their first entry to the campsite. Failure to register will result in the visitors’ fee being charged to you.
  • Day visitors are allowed to enter the campsite between 10 a.m. and 7 p.m.
  • Visitors must comply with the campsite regulations and must not disturb other campsite guests.

Surprise visits are only possible to a very limited extent, so it’s advisable to inform your family and friends in advance.

[ 9 ]  Price list and campsite regulation

Price list and campsite regulation are part of the conditions and terms of business for booking a pitch.

[ 10 ]  Advance payment

The management reserves always the right to ask for payment in advance. With the advance payment the contract of accommodation is concluded.
